Kemotek Diaries/1

The first installment of Kemotek Diaries, a collaborative artbook series featuring Kemonos, technology, and their lives. The book shall be created as a passion project, with no focus on making money out of it and only to cover the essentials such as printing fees.

"Kemotek Diaries: Living Spaces" (?)

Plan

The book should have a small number of pages (2 pages per person) and printed in black and white. The topic of this book should be about furries and their personal living spaces, so you're expected to come up with an original character and room to contribute to your pages. Remember, you have two pages to work with, so it doesn't have to be in-depth. Maybe write/draw your waifu, or use one of your characters?

Your pages should contain at least one comprehensive shot of the room. For example, an isometric bird's eye view of the room, or maybe two views of the room split on the two pages. Point is, you should show the inhabitant's room and its personality. Do this by illustrating things such as items and belongings, the layout of the room, the messiness of the room, the ambience and shadows of the room, or even just have your character stand in the middle of the room.

Your pages should feature the room's owner in view somehow. For example, it can be a near shot to show the face or a distant shot to show pose and silhouette. You can also choose to have monolog/dialog, or even an accompanying story with the illustrations, but keep it minimal. For example, you could show a sequence of someone opening the door and leading you (the reader) in to the room. Or, you could show a character looking over the room plans and wondering if they should move in there. Something like that.

You may also write additional text explaining the room or its items by the side to provide a background story.

The book is intended to be an exercise in character building and expressing personality.
