The first book starts off pretty simple and is all about your character(s) and how they connect! This is to represent the initial issue of the book and how it is formed... through the internet.

Introduce at least one of your original characters by drawing them in their style, clothing and accessories, and if you want, with additional art of their surroundings such as their room or favorite environment. You can also add some descriptive text, for example of their personal details or perhaps their background story, but this is optional. With regards to the theme, it doesn't have to be focused on the Internet -- it would be nice if you showed how your character communicates with the world, friends, family, internet, etc. Examples: Do they have a best buddy or partner that they stick around with? Are they a loner who sits on the computer all day? Do they chat up with strangers at the grocery store? Do they lead a group of friends and cause mischief? Do they send letters in a traditional setting? Are they sweet-talking and flirtatious, or happy and talkative? etc ...
The first part, "Cyber-Sona", is about the character(s( you would like to show off to the readers -- your task is to introduce your original character(s) by drawing them in their style, clothing, and environment of your choice. You decide how you want to create your pages, but I encourage you to experiment with different ways to tell about the character(s), for example: text, logos, panels, textures and patterns. For example, you could tell some backstory about the character through text, or you could throw in a few manga/comicbook-style panels for additional shots. Please feel free to push your art style as far as you are comfortable with, the book content is supposed to be experimental and different!

The second part, "Contact", is about how your character(s) communicate with the world or each others. This part is optional but it would help to include to add some life to the drawings. For example, who does your character talk to when they are awake? Do they have to work a boring office job taking calls, or go on missions communicating through walkie-talkies? Do they live in a fantasy world and communicate through letters? Are they perhaps lonely and reclusive, overly friendly with strangers, or flirtatious and cute? Basically, it's just about showing your character doing something with someone else to add some motion to the drawing. However, as said, this part is optional.

All in all, it's pretty much a free game -- show the reader what you've got with your character.
